Searching For That Perfect Wedding Dress?
Your wedding dress is without doubt one of the hardest fashion purchases you will ever have to make. Not all women find the search for a wedding dress enjoyable. I for one didn’t! I loved my special day very much and liked the dress I chose, as did everyone else, (or so they told me!) but looking for my dress was not the fairy tale experience I expected it to be.
In truth I definitely rushed into it.(The dress, not the wedding) I did the obligatory looking round the shops, nearly fainted when I found out how much people can spend on a dress you will only wear once, and began the process of trying dresses on. For some strange reason I found this immensely stressful. As soon as I donned that first white gown, I became a bag of nerves and was totally overwhelmed. I did try on many beautiful dresses as well as some hideous creations, in a number of different whimsical boutiques, and eventually tired of it all. In the third shop I found a dress I liked and announced that it would “do”. I should have taken a break for a few weeks, and I would recommend every bride do this after the first stint hunting. After a few weeks look again at that dress that was ‘the one’.You may buy or you may be refreshed and ready to enjoy trying on a few more. You hopefully will only do this once.
I now after 7 years married, enjoy looking at wedding dresses and would love to go trying them on. I think I’d enjoy trying on wedding dresses without the stress of a wedding on the horizon!!!
I’ve added here two absolutely gorgeous, simple, classic gowns that would make any future husband gasp in awe at his bride, and to make them even more perfect the most expensive is only £350.
Phase Eight – Eve Wedding Dress – £350
Phase Eight – Stephanie Wedding Dress – £250
